    1. No punishment shall ordinarily be imposed on a student unless he/she is found guilty of the offence for which he/she has been charged by a Proctorial or any other inquiry committee, after following the normal procedure and providing due opportunity to the student to defend himself/herself.
    2. Students found guilty of any in-disciplinary activity by the Proctorial Board will have one "Red Mark" recorded against their profile. If the number of red marks exceeds three during the entire course duration, the student will automatically be debarred from campus placement and, if applicable, from the hostel. Accumulation of further red marks may lead to expulsion from the institute.
    3. However, if a student improves his/her conduct, behavior, attendance, academic performance, and actively participates in student welfare activities, they may apply to the Proctorial Board for removal of red marks. If the Board is satisfied with the improvement, it may remove such red marks from the student's profile.
    4. If the Chairman or any competent authority believes that a prima facie case exists against a student based on available evidence, the student may be suspended. This may include withdrawal of any or all facilities available to a bonafide student, pending inquiry.
    5. In case of any dispute regarding the interpretation of these rules, the matter shall be referred to the Chairman/Director General, whose decision shall be final and binding.
    6. The Management is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal property owned, operated, or possessed by the student, their guest(s), parents, or family members, whether kept in residence units or elsewhere on institution-owned or leased property. The student expressly agrees to accept all risks of such losses or damages.
