About Event

Blood Donation Camp

A Blood Donation Camp was organized at MIET Kumaon to encourage students and staff to participate in this noble cause of saving lives. Blood donation is a voluntary act that plays a crucial role in helping patients undergoing surgeries, cancer treatments, or suffering from severe conditions like anemia and accidents. The process is simple, safe, and takes only about 10–15 minutes for the donation itself.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff members, reflecting their strong sense of social responsibility. Medical professionals ensured proper safety, hygiene, and care throughout the process.
Such initiatives not only help hospitals maintain a sufficient blood supply but also promote health awareness among donors by improving blood circulation and reducing excess iron levels. The event successfully fostered a spirit of compassion, community service, and humanity within the MIET Kumaon family.
