
Clinical training is an essential part of Paramedical education at MIET Kumaon College of paramedical. The college provides students with structured clinical exposure in reputed hospitals and healthcare institutions to help them develop practical skills and professional confidence. During their training, students work under the guidance of experienced faculty and hospital professionals. This allows them to apply theoretical knowledge in real healthcare settings and gain hands-on experience in patient care, Treatment procedures, Diagnostic procedures and hospital practices. Students are trained in various departments such as medical-surgical wards, critical care units, maternity and paediatric wards, community health centres, Diagnostic section and specialty departments. This exposure helps them understand different aspects of healthcare delivery and prepares them to handle diverse clinical situations. The internship program usually up to 6 months, students is trained in different departments such as Medical laboratory technology, radiology, pathology laboratories and physiotherapy department. They learn important tasks like sample collection, laboratory testing, handling medical instruments, maintaining patient’s records, to assess patient’s conditions. This training helps students understand the workflow of hospitals and diagnostic centres. Overall, the internship program plays a vital role in shaping the future of paramedical students. It enhances their practical skills, improves their professional competence sectors. Through these hands- on training, students become capable of providing quality healthcare support and contributing effectively to medical field.
